Welcome to InsideOut Connections ("InsideOut," "we," "us," or "our"). InsideOut Connections provides an online directory that allows incarcerated individuals to be publicly listed so that members of the public may learn about them and choose to initiate correspondence using approved methods.

By accessing or using our website, services, or submitting a listing request (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the Services.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services, submit a listing request, or communicate with individuals listed on the site. By using the Services, you represent that you meet this requirement.

If you are submitting a listing on behalf of an incarcerated individual, you represent that you are authorized to do so and that all information provided is accurate to the best of your knowledge.

2. Nature of the Services

What We Do

InsideOut Connections operates a public inmate listing directory. We publish profiles submitted by incarcerated individuals or their authorized representatives so that others may independently choose to initiate correspondence.

What We Do Not Do

• We are not a pen‑pal matching service.

• We do not facilitate, monitor, or moderate correspondence.

• We do not perform background checks or verify criminal history.

• We do not guarantee responses, relationships, or outcomes.

• We do not provide legal, financial, housing, employment, or post‑release assistance.

InsideOut Connections only provides listing space. All correspondence occurs independently of us.

3. Listings & Content

Accuracy of Information

All listing information is provided by the inmate or an authorized third party. InsideOut Connections does not independently verify the accuracy, completeness, or truthfulness of any listing.

Content Standards

Submitted content must not:

• Violate any law or correctional facility rule

• Include threats, solicitation, or illegal activity

• Contain sexually explicit content

• Infringe on the rights of others

We reserve the right to edit, refuse, suspend, or remove any listing at our sole discretion.

4. Authorization & Responsibility

If you submit a listing on behalf of an inmate:

• You assume responsibility for the accuracy of the information

• You confirm the inmate is permitted to participate

• You agree not to assist in violating facility rules or laws

InsideOut Connections is not responsible for disciplinary or legal consequences resulting from participation.

5. Payments & Fees

All listing fees are disclosed at the time of submission. Fees are non‑refundable once a listing is published.

InsideOut Connections may change pricing at any time with notice. Listings are time‑limited and require renewal.

6. User Responsibility & Risk

You acknowledge that:

• All correspondence is at your own risk

• You are responsible for protecting your personal information

• Inmates listed may have criminal convictions

InsideOut Connections is not liable for any harm, loss, or damages resulting from correspondence.

7. Intellectual Property

All site content, branding, and design elements belong to InsideOut Connections. Users may not reproduce or exploit any portion of the Services without written permission.

By submitting content, you grant InsideOut Connections a non‑exclusive, royalty‑free license to display the content as part of the Services.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access or listings at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE AVAILABILITY, ACCURACY, OR RESULTS.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, InsideOut Connections shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the listing.
